Phil Jones said he would join but looks to have forgotten several times, so I have been paying the extra to keep the 12 lines going. So I pick up double the payouts :) (but put in an extra £52 for the privilege :(

It’s been another awful year !!!

We have quite a few wins, if you call ”lucky dips” a win? We have had x2 £25 wins from our chosen lines, and another x2 £25 wins from LUCKY DIPs that we’re indeed LUCKY enough to win something.

£100 Win from £1366 spent

It is my intention to stop funding the Canadian Pension Fund, I will suggest that we stop the syndicate in the following weeks. I will keep you updated IF we do indeed, decide to stop the lottery. I will then tell you of the last payment date and last day of ticket entry (in plenty of time)

Summary of payouts over recent years

Take a look at these payouts and you can see how the odds have worsened since the change to 3 ball = £25 with more numbers to choose from started. We continued to pay the same £1 each week and dropped the number of tickets by half to allow this.

2013 157.69 each (5 ball win of £2663 in Jul) (and game changed from £1 to £2 in Oct)

2016 Lottery Payout = £7.29 each

2016 payout was only £175 = £7.29 each !!! as predicted, lower than previous years :(

I did not change to the Irish lottery, because that also looked to give poor odds. The National lottery does guarantee Millionaires regularly, but it's harder to win the Main Prize and Less minor prizes don't help the Christmas payouts.

We currently still have 24 members who pay £1 each week towards 12 Tickets purchased on a Saturday.

2015 payout was only £300 = £13.63 each !!!

I expect to pay out in the following couple of weeks

Check the links on the left for last years stats. They don't look good, especially since the changes made to the payouts recently. It's looking like the payouts for us and EVERYONE who does the national lottery, are going to get much less!!! So, the general feeling is that those who want to remain in our syndicate can, but it will change to the Irish lottery or something similar in the following weeks. I will speak to all when giving out winnings. Anyone who wants to leave the syndicate can (just let me know ASAP) so I can work out your/my payments owed :) )

For now I have paid for another 5 weeks on the national lottery - while we gather info on alternatives (Latest link at top)

2014 lottery update Result (for 2014) Total £387 / 20 Members = £19.35 each
{Last Draw was 6th December 2014)

Results for last year on left hand side of this page. I will start paying out winnings on 13 December 2014.

I will pay out at the Shift Meal tonight for those who are present and have all other members paid by early January :)

The Best win yet. £2663 for a 5 Ball win!!!. £157.69 to all in syndicate (other than Chris and Ian). Due to cancelatiopn of the Christmas meal, I will pay out this money during w/c 18/11/2013.  Paying out in November will also ensure that all 20 players have the same payout next year, assuming no one leaves :).
